About the Department
The Department of mechanical engineering is one of the core braches of Engineering offered by the Chalapathi Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET) in affiliation with Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.
The Department was started with B.Tech Program in 2012 with an intake of 60 Students.The department has well equipped state-of-the-art Laboratories namely Workshop, Machine Tools lab, Basic manufacturing processes Lab, Fluid Mechanics &IC ENGINES lab, MODELLING AND ANALYSIS lab, , Heat Transfer lab, Design and Metrology lab.
