Program educational objectives

  • PEO-1: Graduates shall excel in electronics and communication engineering profession through holistic education.
  • PEO-2:Graduates shall have foundation to solve engineering problems, to carry out innovation, entrepreneurship, independent research, and to pursue higher education.
  • PEO-3: Graduates shall have good scientific engineering breadth to provide solutions for real-time engineering problems using the state-of-the- art tools.
  • PEO-4: Graduates shall become engineering professionals with ethics and critical soft skills.
  • PEO-5: Graduates shall be groomed to have moral values with awareness of excellence, societal concern and engage in life-long learning

Program specific outcomes

A graduate of the Computer Science and Engineering Program will demonstrate:
  • PSO-1: Professional Skills: Should be able to excel in concepts of Communication/networking, VLSI, signal processing, embedded systems and semiconductor technology etc., and their applications.
  • PSO-2: An ability to solve complex Electronics and Communication Engineering problems, using latest hardware and software tools, along with analytical skills to achieve cost effective and appropriate solutions.

Association & Activities

SAMVIDH is a Student managed association in the Department of ECE at CIET.

  • Distributed food to Orphans, around the surrounding’s of Government General Hospital (GGH) and Railway Station, Guntur.
  • During corona pandemic situation our students distributed N-95 masks and Sanitizers for the people of LAM village.
  • Students actively participated in distribution of Groceries and fruits at “MATRU SRI OLDAGE HOME” at Sri Nagar, Guntur.
  • As a part of SAMVIDH association, by ECE students has organized the SANKRANTHI SAMBARALU at ECE Department of College campus.
  • Distributed clay Ganesh Idols on the event of VINAYAKA CHAVITHI in campus and to public in SVN colony, Guntur
  • As a part of “DIWALI CELEBRATIONS” conducted by Samvidh association at college campus for ECE students,

  • As a part of SAMVIDH association, by ECE students has organized the SPORTS MEET at ECE Department of College campus.
  • As a part of social events conducted by SAMIDH association by ECE students has conducted BLOOD DONATION CAMP at ECE Department of College campus.

About the Department

The commencement of the department of ECE was in 2012-2013,M.Tech programme in VLSI & ES with an annual intake of 18.

The department of ECE encourages students to participate in various extra-curricular activities and competitions held by other universities and colleges within the state and outside the state. The students also have won laurels to the college by winning prizes in various competitions.
