PrincipalDr. M. Chandrasekhar is the Principal of Chalapathi Institute of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous)-Guntur. He is a distinguished academician, researcher and administrator with over 35 years of experience in industry, engineering education, research, and institutional leadership. He has served as Principal and held various academic positions in reputed engineering institutions across Andhra Pradesh.
Dr. Chandrasekhar has made significant contributions to research and innovation with 9 patents, 5 authored textbooks, and over 30 research publications in Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed journals. His academic excellence has been recognized through several prestigious awards, including the Bhishma Acharya Award from The Bharat Education Excellence Award (2024). He also received a Special Commendation from the Indian Book of Records & guiding the creation of the World’s Largest Human Satellite Launch Vehicle in 2016. His leadership continues to strengthen quality education, research, innovation, and student success at CIET.
