About the Department

The Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering has been functioning since the beginning of the college i.e., from the Academic Year 2007-08 with an intake of 60. The intake was increased to 120 from the academic year 2009-10 the intake was increased to 180 in the academic year 2019-20. The department has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and three faulty are doctorates and some of them are pursuing Ph.D in different streams. ECE department is offering M.Tech course in VLSI and Embedded systems from A.Y. 2012-13 with an intake of 18. Our students got University First, Fifth and sixth Ranks. One student has received PratibhaPuraskar Award from the Govt. of AP.
