The Civil Engineering Department was established in the year 2009 with an intake of 60. In the year 2019 the intake was increased to 120 seats after the Department has been Accrediated by NBA for a period of 3 years. The department has been producing some of the best civil engineers over 9 years.

The Department has been offering the finest and unparallel quality of object based education. Emphasis on practical education coupled with strong concept oriented teaching-learning process which has been the backbone of the department ever since its inception. The Department had excellent infrastructure and well-established laboratories housed spaciously with excellent natural lighting and ventilation.

All the laboratories are thoroughly utilized by the students for carrying out their final year project works and are well-maintained by technically qualified personal. Apart from regular curriculum, the department conducts Workshops/Guest Lectures/Training programs for the students to enhance their skills& FDPs for the faculty to upgrade their domain knowledge.

The individual attention to the students in the academic and other activities has been immensely helpful in keeping the Civil Engineering students focussed&updated.
